To the south is the Room of the Nile, 13 1/3 (cubits long) and 4 cubits wide. Its door opens on to the above-mentioned-hall (The Great Hall) and gives access to the Pure Corridor. Its walls are decorated with ritual scenes depicting the water libations and the spells for blessing them, which takes place there.

About the Room of the Nile
It was the room of the Nile that the libations were brought from the sacred pool to be purified and used in the rituals of the temple. This room has two doors, one leading to the Great Hall, the other that led to the Pure corridor. The Pure Corridor (C on the Map) wraps around the outside of the west, north, and east sides of the Naos.
